Fix Behavior Issues with Our Board & Train!

Issues we will effectively fix during a board and train

  • Barking: Dogs that bark excessively can cause disturbances for both the owner and the neighbourhood.
  • Chewing: Puppies and even adult dogs often chew on household items. This behaviour can result in damage to furniture, shoes, and other personal belongings, and poses a risk of the dog ingesting harmful materials.
  • Digging: Dogs may dig holes in the yard, causing significant disruption to gardens and lawns. This behaviour can be persistent and difficult to manage, leading to ongoing maintenance issues.
  • Jumping Up: Some dogs habitually jump up on people when greeting them. This can be particularly problematic with larger dogs, potentially leading to accidental injuries or intimidation.
  • Pulling on Leash: During walks, many dogs pull on their leash, making it challenging for owners to maintain control. This behaviour can make walks stressful rather than enjoyable for both the dog and the owner.
  • Separation Anxiety: Dogs experiencing separation anxiety may engage in destructive behaviours, excessive barking, and have accidents indoors when left alone. This issue often leads to significant distress for both the dog and the owner.
  • Aggression: Aggressive behaviour in dogs can manifest towards people, other animals, or inanimate objects. This aggression can range from growling and barking to biting and attacking, posing a serious safety risk.
  • House Soiling: Inappropriate urination or defecation inside the house is a common problem. This can create a constant cleaning issue and can be frustrating for owners who struggle to house train their pets.
  • Resource Guarding: Some dogs guard their food, toys, or other possessions aggressively. This behavior can lead to confrontations and potential injuries for both humans and other animals in the household.
  • Reactivity: Reactive dogs respond intensely to specific triggers, such as other dogs, people, or noises. These reactions can include lunging, barking, and aggressive behavior, making it difficult to manage the dog in public or busy environments.
  • Destructive Behaviour: Dogs left alone or without adequate stimulation may engage in destructive behaviours, such as chewing furniture or digging. This can lead to significant damage and ongoing frustration for the owner.
  • Poor Recall: Dogs that do not reliably come when called can pose safety risks, especially in off-leash situations. This issue makes it difficult to allow the dog freedom and can limit the activities the dog can participate in.
